Great video. I'm working in my transfercase shifters. That console removal sucks! Thinking about getting the b&m shifter while it's apart. Is it worth it?
@thedadchannel2534 the console removal does suck. I would say it's worth it. I love the shifter and no more shifter cable popping off. The scariest part about the install for me was getting the cable adjusted after it was all installed.
@@boostedfiveoh thanks for the heads up!
@thedadchannel2534 no problem. B&M has videos on how to adjust it on UA-cam. That was helpful
Pretty rare if that’s stock
@anthonys7534 it was stock. The dealer was pretty shocked too. They said that it's very rare to see it happen.
What a princess on those gears 😂
Hey I have a question. I was thinking about getting one of these riva racing rear kits for my 2024 Yamaha vx cruiser. And I was wondering how much did it cost to install it for you?
@mrpog-ge4kb I installed it myself and it was a real headache. I would recommend having a shop do it that does them often. It's worth the money whatever they charge bc it's so hard to reach down through the engine bay to the hull. And also you get one shot at drilling the hole for the exhaust and I drilled mine slightly too small then had to ream it out and then my bolts wouldn't thread into the bracket so I had to drill the threads out and put a nut on the inside which is difficult to reach. I won't be doing that again lol.
@@boostedfiveoh oh okay. Thanks for the info!
@@mrpog-ge4kb no problem
@@boostedfiveoh wait so how much is it to pay from riva racing because I might ask my dad and he wants to know the price so how much did your pipe cost or did you build it all by yourself
@mrpog-ge4kb looks like they are selling for $439 from riva. I don't remember paying that much though lol
There not supposed to run out of water your gonna need a new engine if you keep doing that it’s water cooled
Great video
@@2mkTTBOB Thanks!
Put better suspension on it Make it a rock climber
I know this is an old video but do you know if the gears in the procharger were standard or helical?
@iscreenshotnfts9455 This one had the helical gears which makes it sound a little cleaner and quieter but still makes enough noise that people can hear it when you pull up in the parking lot
Buy a set of those nuts for the trailer hitch. Then give them to your boyfriend as a gift.
I do the ole radiator cap swap…take yours off and pull a reliable vehicle underneath it and put it back on.
nice pickle fork
Not sure, but I thought "Picklefork hull" referred to hydroplanes. This might be a tunnel hull, with full length sponsons. I could be wrong, because the center of a raised hull might not be the best place for the intake grate. I'd like the owner to respond.
Speed is simply the result of spending $$$.
All that; in a jet? Faster with a Bravo.
Im sure your right but the jet setups are nice for the river especially when the water levels drop
@boostedfiveoh 100% They do have their place. I made the post because seems he's looking for speed. I used to have a "Day Cruiser" Berkeley Jet, 455 Olds. Couldn't keep gas in it.
Hell yeah
What year is this engine?
2019
I’m sorry I’m late I’m planning on doing this do you think it’s a good idea I like the sound any problems?
It ended up being a lil too loud with no muffler and unded up putting a muffler on it that still sounds good but not too loud.
@@boostedfiveoh alright thanks for telling I’m probably going to chagne the muffler to be a little louder.
@ghosty6783 That's probably the best option. Good luck!

Swap coils and clean up the plugs check spark plug gap and re install clear codes and run engine
That was the plan until I found metal shavings in my oil
Check the spring in the connector.
Could be ur sparkplug
Have you found any performance difference with the oil separator and the air intake? Like hp increase, and mpg increase? And also have tou noticed that the engine runs healthier?
No noticeably performance difference. The separator is mostly just to minimize the oil burnt in the combustion chamber. The air intake isn't enough of a power difference to notice it. If you combine full exhaust and tune you'll get a noticeable difference. I haven't got that far yet lol. I would say the oil separator will help keep the engine running healthy down the road. Just hit a lil over 108k miles.
Gotcha. What about the mpg performance?
I just bought Nitto 305 45 R22 tires for my truck. I prefer them over the Hankook brand that I had before.
Glad to hear it! I'm still happy with mine too!
How'd you fix it? I have the exact same problem
I had to get a new plastic bushing that attaches the shift cable to the transmission
I dont know how old your wheels are but the wheels theiy're selling now that look like yours don't require the Tuner lug nuts - only need the tuner if you have the wheels with the alternate lug pattern that have 10 lug holes. FYI - It says that on the VMS website - nice look BTW - JEG's is selling them now at about $30 discount
Que Rrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrooooooooooooooooo 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 ¿ Como es Posible?
My 95 smokes like that too lmao
How are they doing still? Considering these for my E70 X5 35d...
I am still happy with them! Still holding up great at 17,000 miles. Some have complained about road noise from the tires, but my jeep is kinda loud so I don't hear it lol
@@boostedfiveoh thanks for the reply! Curious question though, and maybe not-- but, have you ever left pavement with them? That may sound silly, but part of me can't wrap my head around the SUV thing (my first SUV purchase, ever), and think that for at least a small percentage of it's life this thing may be front country or mild off-road (camping, etc.). edit: Merry Christmas, lol
@bergePanzer581 No problem! I've really only left pavent for a gravel road or possibly turning around somewhere. I've never been camping with the srt. The off roading I would do with the srt would be very minimal. I also have a wrangler for off roading, so if I'm planning on off roading I'll be taking the wrangler. Merry Christmas!
The Fel-Pro 35651 gasket is an aftermarket piece that helps keep the seal when the thermostat's gasket flattens out. After about 6 months or so the thermostat's gasket will typically crap out on everyone from it heating up and flattening down. I just had the exact same issue on my wife's 2007 Wrangler. When it comes down to it, if the thermostat is working properly (but leaking right there), you apparently can just add the $9 Fel-Pro 35651 gasket and you're good to go. I did exactly as you did. Due to the fact that I had it all taken apart, I added the 35651 and the new thermostat. Bled/burped the system with the cold engine and the radiator's cap off, added a tad bit more coolant, and she was all good.
@@kojiki88 Thanks for the update! My radiator has been leaking too, so now that I've finally fixed the radiator, I'm leaking coolant out of the thermostat housing enough that it has become noticeable. I'm going to have to put that gasket on the thermostat house also.
After spilling coolant out of the upper hose like that, is there any burping process that needs to happen? Or does the system burp itself?
You can burp the system once you're finished by starting the vehicle with the radiator cap off. Only do this from a cold start, run it for a minute or two with the radiator cap off, when your done re install the cap and you should be good to go. Add some radiator fluid if needed during the process.
Is 315 a 35'' ?
Yes it is. 315/70/17
Been looking at these in a 305/40/22 for the wife’s Denali XL Yukon. How do they handle in the rain and on wet roads? The 305/40 is about an inch or more wider than her 285/45s so just curious how they tread off water.
@dommeister4004 definitely not like super swampers lol. I couldn't even hear the road noise until people started complaining on my video. I think you'll be fine since you do have that weight over the rear tires. I feel like a truck bed with no weight may have some traction issues no matter what tires you are running. I've had multiple trucks with all different tires and all the trucks would spin the tires fairly easy in the rain.
Thanks for this video just order mine for my Durango hellcat nice looking srt jeep
That SF90 looks so clean
Nice job, gives me the confidence to do it. It's always a stressor when you have to work on your daily driver. No room for error. Luckily the thermostat is cheap and easy to replace. I noticed you didn't replace the housing. I probably will on mine however the part is on backorder from Quadratec and I'm eager to just solve the leak right away.
How many miles do you have on them now? Plan on getting a set for my srt durango and i have them on my truck and can only get 18k miles on a set
Uhm, it’s 986 horsepower :/
Yes, you are correct! 986hp with the electric motors combined. That actually sounds much better!
